Type 1 diabetes is a condition of whole life when it reduces insulin production from our body. Insulin is a vital anabolic hormone affecting glucose, proteins, lipid and, mineral metabolism and growth as well.

When a sufficient amount of insulin is not found in the body, then glucose goes into the bloodstream instead of going into the cells. If we have type 1 diabetes, our blood sugar level will remain high until we take the medicine.

How do you get type 1 diabetes?

TP1 diabetes when we get when our body and our immune system reduces fighting against infections and virus outside. Which causes our body's beta cells to reduce or stop producing insulin, Scientists think that because of type 1 diabetes, there are genes, environmental factors such as viruses that give a big boost to our disease.

Diagnosis

Type 1 diabetes can be very easily detected with some tests. Some tests are done to know quickly and some take a couple of hours of arrangements and monitoring.
You can find out by checking your blood sugar level to match the following criteria.

Fasting blood sugar test:- Fasting blood sugar levels should be higher than 126mg/dl when a person has diabetes.

Random blood sugar test:- Its normal range is 140 mg/dL or below. When someone has prediabetes, it ranges from 140mg/dl to 199mg/dl, and Diabetes is diagnosed when it reaches 200mg/dl or above.

Hemoglobin a1C:- The hemoglobin a1C test tells you how much your average blood sugar level over the past 2 to 3 months. This test should not come above 6.5mg/dl.

Every diabetic patient should have this test done regularly so that you can check your average blood sugar level and consult doctors accordingly.

RISK FACTORS

The risk factor of type 1 diabetes is not so well understood, so much of type 2 diabetes comes. Other Risk Factors include-

Family history:-Family history is a known risk factor. When your brother, sister, and parents have Type 1 diabetes.

Pancreas trauma:-Some infections and indigestion occur in the pancreas.

Age:-You can get diabetes at any stage when you are young and teen. Children and adults are more likely to develop type 1 diabetes.
